The Aquarium Filter Sponge is also known as mesh sponge or bursting sponge. The polyurethane filter sponge is made from ordinary open-cell soft foam through a meshing process. This meshing process removes the original skin or wall membranes between the foam cells, resulting in a main skeletal mesh structure.
The Aquarium Filter Sponge has a porosity as high as 97%, offering excellent air permeability, good softness, and high mechanical strength.
